Learn more about us
The beginning
The Mac Plastering team was formed in 2008 when our founder decided to assemble a crew of professional local plasterers in London, all of whom were passionate about their trade. From a one-man business it has grown to the large outfit that it is today.
Thanks to his sense of responsibility and commitment to hard work, Mac has built a business based on trust and he’s created enduring relationships with workers and customers alike. Over time, the Mac Plastering team’s high quality of workmanship impressed larger firms, leading to our being invited to become involved in more complex, large-scale projects. However, we haven’t lost sight of our private clients and the smaller jobs that had allowed the business to grow. We still realise that people look for local plasterers that come highly recommended for doing a great job. Thanks to professional crew members and a great eye for detail, all jobs are finished to the highest standard.
The Team
From the outset, Mac has only recruited craftsmen with the passion and drive needed to achieve standards that leave others in the shade. The aim of the Mac Plastering team has always been to treat our clients as individuals – putting our heart, time and skills into each and every project – and our staff always abide by this principle.
We don’t just hire the best local plasterers; we keep them! All the individuals that were originally hired are now a strong team of hard working, premium plasterers that deliver the highest quality service, driven by total customer satisfaction.
We recognise the importance of a happy workforce, and our aim is to see our team members develop and grow with us. The best members of our team have risen through the ranks to become supervisors, entrusted to take control and oversee projects, as well as assisting in the training of new starters.
Growing our team of local plasterers
As Mac Plastering expanded and achieved recognition as a company, the time came to create a suitable brand and corporate identity. We decided that what represents our approach best is a pyramid. Why that shape? The pyramid symbolises the most stable construction – with broad foundations – and suggests a timeless quality; something built to last. It also represents positive energy and the ideology of Mac Plastering – to climb up to the summit.
Building a true team
We are highly motivated, well organised and creative team, with exacting standards. We enjoy checking each other’s work to make sure we are all contributing and doing a fantastic job for every client. This is how we build the trust and rapport required for a great working relationship with all the clients we work with. Over the years, Mac Plastering has co-operated with many other companies, including TPLS Ceilings and Partitions Ltd, with whom we have been stronger together since 2008.
Local plasterers – big projects
The Mac Plastering Team has worked on projects large and small, across London and beyond. Some of the largest projects have included:

- 74 Avenue Road, St. John’s Wood – London
- North Brook College – Worthing
- City of London Freemen’s School – Ashtead
